Responsibilities & Authorities

All employees are responsible for the quality of the work they do and for following the procedures and work instructions used to control the processes they are involved in. Within the context of their jobs, each employee focuses on the achievement of our quality objectives — improving customer satisfaction, reducing complaints, meeting quality and delivery requirements, and reducing part rejects.

Production Managers, Supervisors, Operators, and Inspectors have the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.

Quality Management System Responsibilities

  1. 1The Quality Manager ensures the quality management system conforms to the requirements of ISO.
  2. 2Process Owners identified in process documents ensure that processes deliver their intended outputs.
  3. 3The Quality Manager reports to top management on the performance of the QMS and on opportunities for improvement.
  4. 4The Director of Operations ensures the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
  5. 5The Quality Manager ensures the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes are planned and implemented.
